D.R. Gordon Building recently completed a custom built duplex project at the beautiful Ballarat Golf Course Estate - Insignia. These cleverly designed and quality built homes, are a good example of what can be built on a reasonably small and narrow fronted block of land. By building to each side boundary with a common joined wall between a portion of the homes, it has allowed us to fit 2 x 4 bedroom homes onto these blocks with a frontage of 10.75mt wide and 28.0 mt long.
A duplex is a residential building containing two homes that share a common central wall.
Sometimes the pair of homes in the duplex will be owned and sold together if they exist on one land title. Sometimes separate titles exist so a duplex pair can be individually owned and sold.
