Built overlooking the fairways of the new Ballarat golf course, this ultra-modern home has certainly delivered all of our Clients requests. Our Clients wanted a home that took maximum advantage of the surrounding course views from the living areas, as well as open plan living areas and separate entertaining areas that could cater for open or private functions. They wanted all this at a high spec level, while also wanting a home suitable for comfortable living.
Entering the home via Skyline Drive, past the stone clad walls that run into the home, brings you to an open plan kitchen/meals/living area full of amazing features. The internal stonework, Blackbutt open staircase and the stunning views of the golf course instantly create the ‘Wow’ factor. Adjacent to the kitchen is a semi-enclosed courtyard, which faces the side street for a more private outdoor eating area.
Entering upstairs via the open staircase there are 3 more bedrooms, in addition to the lavish Master Suite downstairs, with one being a Guest room complete with its own Ensuite, Walk-in-robe and Balcony. There is also a functional Study, Bathroom, Family Room and a balcony overlooking the golf course and background views to the Pyrenees. Facing to the west, this is the perfect area for entertaining or just relaxing with a book or a glass of wine.
The exterior of the home incorporates a mixture of face brickwork, render, stone cladding and CSR ‘Edge’ cladding over different portions of the home, as well as the feature of the exposed steel structural columns to the West elevation.Internal features are the timber floorboards, floor to ceiling tiling, the open timber staircase abutting windows that reach from the lower floor to the upstairs ceiling and vinyl wrap joinery with stone benchtops throughout.
The end result of this home is a showcase of what can be designed and achieved within a prestigious Estate, while working within the confines of a Restrictive Covenant, to create not only a stunning family home but also a home that can be easily recognised and admired.
